Skip Bin Hire Doonside

Doonside is a popular and thriving suburb in Western Sydney and skip bins are always in demand. This is partly because there’s a lot of real estate action in the area. Part of the City of Blacktown, Doonside has a lot to offer including shopping, sporting activities clubs and schools.

Here at Skip Bin Finder, we’re pleased to be able to help both home and business owners in the area with all of their waste removal needs.

We supply skips in a choice of sizes – there’s something for everyone, no matter how much waste you have or how little.

Skip bin sizes and types

Skip Bin Finder Doonside offers all manner of skips for all kinds of rubbish types. Our skips come in a variety of sizes too.

  • 2m3 Mini Skips
  • 3m3 Mini Skip Bins
  • 4m3 Small Skip Bins
  • 6m3 Large Skip Bins
  • 7m3 Large Skips
  • 8m3 Extra Large Skip Bins
  • 9m3 Extra Large Skips

The different sizes make it easy for you to get the right skip – for example, a smaller clean up job would probably only require a 2m3 skip bin.

This size of skip bin will hold as much as 8 wheelie bins worth of waste – that’s quite a lot! Similarly, the 3m3 skip bin will hold around 12 wheelie bins worth of waste. You can go up in sizes according to your needs.

Some skip bins are designed only for building waste such as concrete or bricks

Skip bin waste types

The skip bins which we provide are also varied according to the waste types which people most commonly dispose of.

You can book a skip bin just for soil and dirt alone for example, or only for green organics. Or, you can choose a mixed or general waste skip bin.

Organising waste like this is a good way for us to recycle more. By separating rubbish if possible, it allows us to easily sort through the contents of each skip bin and send it to be recycled.

Creating a more sustainable waste management infrastructure is vital for Australia’s future.

The main skip bin waste types are as follows. General waste is a good skip bin for those people who have a lot of random rubbish such as old furniture and other household waste.

  • General Waste
  • Green Waste
  • Concrete/brick
  • Soil/dirt
  • Mixed waste

If you’re not sure which to book, just visit our waste types page and read up on what they are and what can and can’t go into each skip bin type.

Using a skip bin – top tips

Using a skip bin is easy but there are a few tips which will help you make the most out of your hire.

  • Place your skip bin close to your rubbish source
  • Don’t block entrances and exits
  • Don’t place the skip beneath trees or power lines – this can cause issues with delivery
  • Lay flat items in the base of the skip before putting any other rubbish inside
  • If you have lighter items which could blow away, pin them down with heavier things.
